Nathalie Owen FitzSimons is a Horror Scholar, Synthesist, Theatre Maker, and Mad Scientist.
Nathalie’s work has been featured at such places as the Ashland Fringe Festival, the Arcata Fringe Festival, Dell’Arte International’s Macabre Cabaret, Hand2Mouth theatre’s New2You Bodies and Technology festival, Curious Comedy Theatre’s Curious Cabaret; and the Stage Fright Festival, the world’s premiere queer horror theatre festival, where she has been crowned as the bloodiest show in festival for her show The Surgery- a show where she performs gender affirming surgery on a cisgender audience member, live on stage!
Nathalie has her MFA in Ensemble based devised physical theatre from Dell’Arte International, which she has put to work teaching for a variety of organizations, including Echo Theater, Portland Community College, Art4Life elementary school programs, and many others.
Whenever Nathalie has time, she volunteers at the Synthesizer Library of Portland, where she has been a member for about 2 years.
